Bio
Thanks to sources like Wikipedia or the above mentioned 'Musso Music' site for some pertinent information...EVERYONE who is more than just a cursory fan of Bill's should know Bob's name. A graduate of Rutgers University in New Jersey, Robert Musso started his career in studio work in the late '70s. Prior to hooking up with Laswell in 1981-1982, he assisted on sessions with people like Felix Pappalardi, Mick Jagger and Stevie Wonder. Starting around the time of Material's 'One Down', Musso began an association with Laswell that continues today. Aside from being a guitarist, producer and label owner in his own right, he's know as an engineer extraordinaire, having contributed not just to hundred's of albums in Bill's career, but on hundred's of releases outside of that as well. In addition to his Machine Gun and Transonic projects (among others), Bob started the label MuWorks in the mid-80s, reviving it a few years ago as a digital label. Check out the link to his site above for a discography, some great stories about people like Miles Davis and Bootsy and Bill, but also for links to ordering some hard to find and out of print Musso-related releases.
